Let's get one thing straight on immigration. Pay attention all you 2020 presidential candidates and left winger socialists. Those thousands that are crossing our southern border from Latin American nations are illegal aliens. Illegal aliens! Period!
Under federal law, any non-U.S. citizen is an alien. Aliens who have entered the United States without permission, or who have violated the terms of their admission, are identified under the law as illegal aliens. That is a fact, not an issue for debate.
The term “alien” means any person not a citizen or national of the United States. —United States Code, Title 8, §1101(a)(3)
An illegal alien…is any alien (1) whose most recent entry into the United States was without inspection, or (2) whose most recent admission to the United States was as a nonimmigrant and—(A) whose period of authorized stay as a nonimmigrant expired, or (B) whose unlawful status was known to the Government, before the date of the commission of the crime for which the alien is convicted. —United States Code, Title 8, §1365(b)
“Undocumented immigrant” or any other form that people twist the term to make it more acceptable is a politically correct, made-up term used to obscure the fact that such aliens have violated U.S. immigration law.
The Supreme Court, which has decided numerous cases involving federal immigration law, also uses the correct, precise legal term of “illegal alien.”
The Justice Department has a constitutional duty to enforce the immigration laws passed by Congress against illegal aliens.
And another important fact that you dunderheads are missing. Immigration law is under the control of Congress. Presidential power is limited to policies on refugees. Congress should be enforcing the law concerning these illegal aliens.
